West Lafayette, Ohio is a village in Ridgeway Township, Coshocton County. It was established in 1826 and named after Lafayette, a French general who aided the United States during the American Revolution. The village is home to Roscoe Village, a restored canal-era town that attracts tourists with its historical buildings, shops, and events. As of the 2010 census, the population of West Lafayette was 2,321.
