Barnsdall, Oklahoma, US is a town in Osage County with a population of approximately 1,200 as of 2019. It was named after Frank Barnsdall, an oilman who founded the town in the early 20th century during the Oklahoma oil boom. The town was incorporated in 1922. Barnsdall is known for its historic downtown area and the Frank Phillips Home, a 26-room mansion that was built in 1927 and is now a museum. The mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
