Cleora, OK is an unincorporated community in Mayes County, Oklahoma. It was established in the early 1900s and named after a Choctaw woman. Cleora was a stop on the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad and had a post office from 1903 to 1955. The community is home to the historic Cleora Church, which was built in 1915 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Cleora is located near Grand Lake O' the Cherokees, a popular tourist destination in Oklahoma.
