Commerce, Oklahoma is a town in Ottawa County, founded in 1897. It was originally a farming community, but later became a center for oil production during the early 20th century. The town was named after the Commerce Railway, which ran through the area. A notable attraction in Commerce is the Totem Pole Park, home to the world's largest concrete totem pole, standing at 90 feet tall. Today, Commerce has a population of approximately 2,500 and is a small, close-knit community.
