Dewar is a town in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma, USA. It was established in 1902 and named after Thomas Martin Dewar, a Scottish distiller. The town was a trading center for local farmers and ranchers. The Dewar Carnegie Library, built in 1912, is a notable landmark, listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1988. The library was a gift from Andrew Carnegie and is one of the few remaining Carnegie libraries in Oklahoma.
