Locust Grove is a town in Mayes County, Oklahoma, US, with a population of approximately 1,400 as of 2019. It was established in the 1870s as a trading post for the Delaware Nation and later became a stop on the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad. The town is named after a grove of locust trees near the original town site. The National Rod & Custom Car Hall of Fame Museum, which showcases vintage automobiles and memorabilia, is a notable attraction in Locust Grove.
