Mangum is a city in Greer County, Oklahoma, US, established in 1890. It was named after George Mangum, a cattleman and outlaw. The city served as the county seat until 1910, when a new county seat was established in Brinton. Mangum is known for the Greer County Courthouse, a historic landmark built in 1902, which features a Second Renaissance Revival architectural style. Today, the city has a population of approximately 3,000 and serves as a commercial center for the surrounding agricultural area.
