Sentinel is a town in Washita County, Oklahoma, USA. It was established in 1901 and named after the sentinel lighthorsemen who stood guard during the land runs. The town was a shipping point for cattle and grain in the early 1900s. The National Rod & Custom Car Hall of Fame Museum, which houses a collection of classic cars and memorabilia, is a notable attraction in Sentinel.
