South Coffeyville is a town in Nowata County, Oklahoma, US, founded in the late 19th century. It was originally a Native American settlement before becoming a railroad town, with the arrival of the St. Louis, Iron Mountain and Southern Railway. The town was named after David L. Coffey, a local farmer and landowner. The town is home to the Center of the World monument, which marks the exact center of the 48 contiguous states, making it a notable attraction for tourists.
