Glide is a small town in Douglas County, Oregon, US, established in the late 19th century. Originally a stagecoach stop, it grew with the arrival of the railroad. The town is named after the vicinity's glide-like terrain. Glide is home to the Wolf Creek Inn, a historic building from 1883, which served as a lodging for Jack London and other notable figures, now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
