Clifford Township is a township located in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, US. It was established in 1806 and named after a local landowner, John Clifford. The township covers an area of approximately 48 square miles and has a population of around 1,700 residents. A notable attraction in Clifford Township is the Starrucca Viaduct, a historic railroad bridge that was completed in 1848 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
