Crafton, Pennsylvania, US is a borough in Allegheny County, established in 1892. It was named after early settler John Craft, who built a gristmill there in 1834. The community experienced industrial growth with the arrival of the Pittsburgh, Chartiers and Youghiogheny Railroad in 1877. Today, Crafton is known for its Victorian-style homes and the historic Crafton Station, a former train station now serving as a community center.
