Ford City, Pennsylvania, US is a borough in Armstrong County. It was incorporated in 1957, but its history dates back to 1885 when coal mining operations began in the area. The town was named after the Ford City Coal Company. The borough is known for the Kittanning Bridge, a notable landmark that spans the Allegheny River and connects Ford City with Kittanning.
