Jermyn is a borough in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was incorporated in 1870 and named after David Jermyn, a director of the Delaware and Hudson Canal Company. The borough is known for its well-preserved Victorian architecture and is often referred to as the "Silk Stocking Town" due to the wealth of its early residents.
