Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, US is a city in Westmoreland County, established in 1959. It covers an area of approximately 21 square miles and has a population of around 11,000. The city was named after Henry Hamilton Burt, a prominent local businessman. Lower Burrell is home to the popular 290-acre Cooper's Lake Campground, which hosts the annual Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival.
