New Stanton, Pennsylvania, US is a borough in Westmoreland County established in 1970. It is a part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area and has a population of approximately 3,500. The borough was formed from parts of Hempfield Township and is home to the popular Westmoreland Mall, a major shopping center in the region. The town's growth was largely driven by the construction of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, which passes through the area.
