Perryopolis is a borough in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, United States, located along the Youghiogheny River. Established in 1824, the town was named after Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, a hero of the War of 1812. Perryopolis is known for its historic architecture, including the Colonel George E. Andrews House, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The borough is also home to the popular outdoor destination, Ohiopyle State Park, offering numerous recreational activities such as hiking, biking, and whitewater rafting.
