South Williamsport is a borough in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River, opposite the city of Williamsport. The borough is known as the home of the Little League Baseball World Series, which has been held annually since 1947 at the Little League International Complex. The first Little League game was played in South Williamsport in 1939. The borough has a population of approximately 6,500 residents.
