Wattsburg is a borough in Erie County, Pennsylvania, United States. Established in 1820, it was named after James Watt, a Scottish inventor and mechanical engineer known for his improvements to the Newcomen steam engine. The borough covers an area of 1.1 square miles and had a population of 442 as of the 2010 census. A notable attraction in Wattsburg is the Wattsburg Historic District, which includes a collection of well-preserved historic buildings from the 19th and early 20th centuries.
