Waymart is a borough in Wayne County, Pennsylvania, US, founded in 1867. It was named after the Wayne Agricultural Association, which held its annual fairs near the current town site. The town covers a total area of 1.3 square miles and had a population of 1,799 as of the 2010 census. Waymart is home to the Stourbridge Lion Historic Site, the location where the first locomotive to run in the United States was tested in 1829.
