West View, PA, US is a borough in Allegheny County, established in 1868. It was originally part of Reserve Township and got its name from its position on the western side of the Ohio River. The borough covers an area of 1.3 square miles and had a population of 7,030 as of the 2020 census. West View's notable landmark is the West View Park, a historic amusement park that has been in operation since 1906, known for its classic rides and Racer roller coaster, a wooden coaster that has been a staple of the park since 1921.
