Eutawville is a town in Orangeburg County, South Carolina, US, with a population of approximately 300 as of 2019. It was incorporated in 1881 and is named after the Battle of Eutaw Springs, the last major engagement of the American Revolutionary War in the South. The town is home to the Eutawville National Fish Hatchery, which was established in 1934 and is one of the oldest and largest warmwater fish hatcheries in the country. The hatchery raises and stocks various warmwater fish species, including largemouth bass, crappie, and catfish, to support recreational fishing and conservation efforts.
