Ten Mile, Tennessee is a small town in Loudon County, founded in the 19th century. It was named after the Ten Mile Creek that flows through the area. The town was a stop on the East Tennessee, Virginia and Georgia Railroad. The most notable landmark in Ten Mile is the Ten Mile General Store, which has been in operation since 1896 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
