Tuscola is a town in Taylor County, Texas, USA, with a population of approximately 750 as of 2019. It was established in 1909, when the Kansas City, Mexico and Orient Railway came through the area. The town was named after Tuscola, Illinois, the hometown of one of the railroad officials. Tuscola is known for its notable landmark, the "World's Largest Rattlesnake," a roadside attraction that is 110 feet long and made of concrete and steel.
