Bountiful, Utah, US is a city in Davis County, established in 1847 by early Mormon pioneers. It was the second settlement in the Salt Lake Valley and is named after the phrase "bountiful countryside" from the Book of Mormon. The city has grown to a population of approximately 44,000 as of 2020. A notable landmark is the Bountiful Temple, the 14th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which was dedicated in 1995.
