Ferron is known for its proximity to the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry, a notable landmark and fossil site in the nearby Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur National Monument, which contains the densest concentration of Jurassic-age dinosaur bones in the world.
