Galesville, Wisconsin, US is a city in Trempealeau County, founded in 1854. It was named after a steamboat captain, Allen Gale. The city is home to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Galesville Campus, which was established in 1969. A notable landmark is the Galesville Stone Arch Bridge, built in 1889, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The city has a population of approximately 1,500 as of the 2010 census.
