Gilman, Wisconsin, US is a town in Taylor County established in 1905. It was named after William Gilman, a lumber industry pioneer. The town covers 35.8 square miles and had a population of 410 as of the 2020 census. Gilman is known for its rich history in the logging industry and the well-preserved Gilman Depot, a train station built in 1919, which now serves as a local museum.
