Hillsboro is a village in Vernon County, Wisconsin, US, with a population of approximately 1,400 as of 2019. It was established in 1853 and named after Hillsborough, New Hampshire, the former home of one of the village's founders. The village is known for its historic downtown district, which includes the Hillsboro State Bank Building, a notable landmark constructed in 1905. The bank building, with its classical design and prominent dome, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
