Danville is a town in Yell County, Arkansas, US, with a population of approximately 2,400 as of 2019. It was established in 1840 and incorporated in 1878. The town was named after Daniel Price, an early settler. Danville is home to the historic Danville Courthouse, built in 1900, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The town has a rich history in the timber industry and is also known for its annual Watermelon Festival.
