Priest River is a city in Bonner County, Idaho, US, located near the intersection of Priest River and the Pend Oreille River. The city was incorporated in 1907 and has a population of approximately 1,700. It is named after Father Pierre-Jean De Smet, a Jesuit missionary who traveled through the area in the 1800s. The city is home to the Priest River Museum and Timber Education Center, which showcases the region's logging history.
