East Windsor, New Jersey, US is a township in Mercer County, established in 1797. It was originally part of the Western precinct of East Amwell Township in Hunterdon County. The township was named after East Windsor in Connecticut. The township is home to the historic District of President's House, a national historic landmark, which was the residence of the first president of Princeton University, Jonathan Edwards. East Windsor has a diverse community and offers a variety of recreational activities, including parks and shopping centers.
