Penndel is a borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, US, founded in 1909. It was originally part of the Edgeborough Township, which was divided into Penndel and Hulmeville. The borough was named after the Penn family, founders of Pennsylvania. Penndel is home to the historic Penndel Post Office, listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1988, known for its Colonial Revival architecture. Today, Penndel is a small, residential community with a population of approximately 2,500.
