Sinking Spring is a borough in Berks County, Pennsylvania, United States. Founded in 1740, it was named after a spring that provided water for the area's early settlers. The borough played a role in the American Revolution as a site of the Battle of Paoli in 1777. Today, a notable attraction is the Daniel Boone Homestead, a historic site and museum dedicated to the life of the famous frontiersman who lived in the area as a child.
