Plain City is a town in Weber County, Utah, United States, founded in 1859 by settlers from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was originally named West Weber, but was later renamed Plain City due to its location on the plain between the Weber and Ogden rivers. The town is known for its rich agricultural history and the historic Plain City Meeting House, a well-preserved example of early Mormon architecture. As of 2021, the town has a population of approximately 7,000 residents.
