Eastsound is the largest town on Orcas Island, one of the San Juan Islands in Washington State, US. It was established in the late 19th century and has a population of approximately 4,000. The town is named after Joseph Poetsy's Native American name, "Eastsound," who was a signer of the Treaty of Point Elliott.
