Granite Falls is a city in Snohomish County, Washington, US, located about 30 miles northeast of Seattle. Incorporated in 1903, the city was named after nearby Granite Falls, a waterfall on the Stillaguamish River. The city's economy was historically based on logging and mining, but today it is a residential community with a population of approximately 3,500 people. A notable attraction in Granite Falls is the Granite Falls Golf Course, a public 18-hole course with scenic views of the Cascade Mountains.
