Voorhees, New Jersey, US is a township in Camden County established in 1899. It was named after Foster McGowan Voorhees, the governor of New Jersey at that time. The township was originally part of Waterford Township and grew from a population of 300 in 1900 to over 30,000 by 2020. Voorhees is home to the Voorhees Town Center, a popular shopping and dining destination.
