Sheffield Village, Ohio, US is a historical community in Lorain County. Established in the early 19th century, it was originally part of the Connecticut Western Reserve. The village is named after Colonel Thomas Sheffield, an early landowner. Sheffield Village is home to the Sheffield Village Historical Society, which operates a museum and historic site called the "Bradley House", a well-preserved example of a 19th-century residence.
