Ozone Park is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens, established in the early 20th century. It was originally part of the Town of Jamaica and was largely farmland until the early 1900s. The neighborhood's name comes from the Ozone Park Development Company, which developed the area and promoted its clean air. A notable landmark is the Aqueduct Racetrack, which opened in 1894 and has hosted thoroughbred racing since 1959.
