Hatboro is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was founded in 1715 by German immigrants and was originally known as "Hatboro-Horsham". The town was named for its hat-making industry and its location along the "Great Road", now known as York Road. A notable landmark is the circa 1705 Colonial-style Union Library, which is the oldest library building in continuous use in the United States.
